SMALL FOOT Wooden Puzzle Animals with Letters and Numbers

A colourful, educational wooden puzzle for children from 2 years old that combines animals, the alphabet, numbers and sequencing in one engaging toy. The SMALL FOOT puzzle consists of 26 connecting wooden animal pieces – letters A to Z are featured on one side, while numbers 1 to 26 are displayed on the other.

This is much more than a traditional puzzle. Children can create a long, colourful chain of animals, search for the correct letter or number, compare shapes and discover independently how the individual pieces fit together. This type of play naturally encourages curiosity, patience and the desire to keep trying until the solution is found.

Learning through play, step by step

For younger children, the animals, colours and simple process of connecting the puzzle pieces may initially be the most exciting part. As the child grows, the toy can also be used to introduce the alphabet, letter order, numbers and counting.

Completing the puzzle helps develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, logical thinking and patience. The manufacturer particularly highlights the development of cognitive abilities, early literacy skills, logical thinking and motor skills.

For parents, it is a practical educational toy that can be used in many different ways over time – not only as a puzzle, but also for conversations about animals, letter recognition, number recognition and simple counting activities.

Playful design for a modern children's room

The animal shapes give this classic wooden alphabet and number puzzle a playful and engaging character. Its colourful yet timeless design fits naturally into Montessori-inspired, Scandinavian-style and modern children's interiors, playrooms and preschool learning environments where toys are chosen not only for entertainment, but also to encourage independent exploration.

When assembled, the puzzle is approximately 56 cm long, allowing children to see the full sequence of letters or numbers at once.

Ideas for play and learning

At first, allow the child to explore the pieces freely and discover how they connect without turning the activity into a formal learning task. Once the puzzle concept is familiar, you can begin looking for specific letters together, counting the animals, arranging numbers in the correct order or naming words that begin with a selected letter.

This helps preserve the most important element of learning – the child's natural curiosity and enjoyment of discovery.

Durable wood and carefully considered quality

The puzzle is made from wood, a durable material particularly well suited to children's toys designed for repeated and long-term use. SMALL FOOT places strong emphasis on wooden toys, thoughtful design, quality, safety and a more sustainable approach to children's play products.

Before use, remove all packaging materials and retain the product safety information.
