BEES & BLOOMS Kids Cocoon Swing – Cow Print

A little space to sway, read and unwind

After a busy day of play, children sometimes need a space of their own — somewhere to settle with a book, hold a favourite toy or enjoy a quiet moment. The BEES&BLOOMS hanging cocoon swing combines a soft seat with gentle movement, creating a cosy retreat in a child’s bedroom or playroom.

Its enveloping shape and generous cushion offer a sense of privacy, while the cow print adds a playful touch. Neutral tones complement Scandinavian and boho interiors, pairing naturally with wooden furniture and textured textiles. It fits into a child-centred space where children can choose between activity and rest.

From a reading nook to an imaginary hideaway

One moment, the cocoon is a comfortable reading spot; the next, it becomes a secret hideout or an imaginary ship. This versatile piece of children’s playroom equipment brings several activities together without requiring a separate piece of furniture for each one.

Gentle swaying provides sensory movement experiences, while adjusting body position engages balance and coordination. Getting in and out, with adult support appropriate to the child’s abilities, offers opportunities to practise movement planning. As these actions become more familiar, children can build confidence in their own abilities.

The soft fabric adds tactile interest. In a sensory corner, the cocoon can accommodate different preferences: some children may enjoy a gentle sway, while others prefer sitting quietly with a picture book.

Will it suit your child and your home?

The swing is suitable for children aged 3 years and over, with a maximum weight capacity of 80 kg. Alongside age, consider your child’s ability to sit securely, maintain their position and get out of the cocoon safely.

Ceiling suspension removes the need for a floor-standing frame, although clear space is still required around the swing. When planning its position, allow for its 72 cm width, 157 cm height and additional 16 cm hanging loop, as well as clearance from walls and furniture.

A ceiling hook is included. Before installation, check the ceiling’s load-bearing capacity and whether the fixing is suitable for the surface. Install and use the swing according to the manufacturer’s instructions, with adult supervision during use.

Soft texture for everyday comfort

The supplier describes a soft corduroy cover and a padded cushion. The fabric’s ribbed texture adds tactile detail, while the 20 cm-high cushion creates a comfortable seat.

Its practical value lies in its versatility: one product can serve as a place for reading, relaxing and imaginative play. The swing is made in Poland. The available specifications do not identify the exact fabric fibres, cushion filling, surface treatments or hypoallergenic properties, so these characteristics cannot be confirmed. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions to help preserve the fabric and its appearance.

Clear information about safety

The supplier states that BEES&BLOOMS products carry CE marking and meet EU safety requirements. Model-specific EN 71 test reports, REACH compliance information, and FSC or ISO certificates are not specified in the supplied product description.
