2. Applicable terms
Purchases on kidspace.store are governed by the laws of Latvia and the European Union concerning distance contracts and consumer rights. These Terms are provided in English; where several language versions exist, the Latvian version prevails.
3. Product information
Product descriptions, availability, technical characteristics and indicative delivery times are shown on product pages. Some items may be made to order or shipped directly from EU manufacturers.
4. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown including VAT (unless stated otherwise). Shipping costs are calculated in the cart based on destination, size/weight and the chosen carrier.
5. Ordering and contract formation
A contract between the Buyer and the Seller is formed when the Buyer receives an order confirmation by email. The Seller may cancel an order (e.g., due to lack of availability, payment authorisation failure, or obvious pricing error) with a full refund of amounts paid.
6. Payment methods
-
Card payments (processed by Stripe Payments Europe and EveryPay).
-
Bank transfer to Luula Ltd. accounts.
Card data is processed within secure payment gateways; the Seller does not have access to full card numbers.
7. Delivery and timelines
Deliveries are handled by Eedex, DHL, Latvijas Pasts, DPD and other logistics partners. Lead times are indicative and depend on the carrier and manufacturer’s stock. The Buyer is responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Upon receipt, please check the package; in case of visible damage, record evidence and inform customer support at [email protected] without delay.
8. Transfer of risk
The risk of loss or damage passes to the Buyer when the goods are delivered into the Buyer’s possession. If the Buyer arranges transport independently, risk passes when the goods are handed to the chosen carrier.
9. Right of withdrawal and returns
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the distance contract within 14 days from delivery, without giving a reason. Returned goods must be sent back within the prescribed period; direct return shipping costs are normally borne by the Buyer unless the item arrived defective or non-conforming. Items must be unused, complete and in original packaging.
Exceptions: the right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made or personalised goods and other exceptions provided by law.
10. Non-conformity and warranty
If a non-conformity is discovered, the Buyer may request repair, replacement, price reduction, or withdraw from the contract and obtain a refund in line with applicable laws. Claims can be made within 2 years from delivery. For support, email [email protected] and include the order number, description of the defect and photos/videos.
11. Buyer’s obligations
The Buyer undertakes to provide accurate and complete information, pay on time, accept delivery at the stated address/time, and handle the goods carefully until deciding to keep or return them.
12. Refunds
Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed. The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods are received back or proof of return shipment is provided.
13. Dispute resolution
Disputes should first be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the Buyer may apply to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia or to the competent courts under Latvian law.
14. Personal data processing
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Seller’s Privacy Policy, including for order processing, payments, delivery and customer support. For data protection queries, contact [email protected].
15. Intellectual property
All content on the website (texts, photos, designs, product descriptions, trademarks) is protected. Any use beyond personal use without the Seller’s prior written consent is prohibited.
16. Changes to the Terms
The Seller may amend these Terms by publishing a new version on the website. Material changes will be communicated clearly. The Terms applicable to an order are those in force at the time of purchase.
